The Zoroastrian Fire Temple in my city, Kolkata, ( Calcutta), India. They not only survived but thrived in India , being one of the wealthiest communities after being ethnically cleansed from Persia, much like the Hindus of Kashmir. Both the Zoroastrians and Vedic ( Hindu) religions worship fire and according to some scholars have the same root .
