From Feminist Author, Taslima Nasrin, “A Mother Told her Daughter’s Rapists To Come One By One”
Bangladesh October 8, 2001: An Islamic nation with Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian minorities:
Ani Chandra used to live with her his wife and two daughters, 14 year old Purnima and one younger daughter who was 6. They had land and resources to feed the family. Despite being good citizens, their only crime is they were Hindu Kafirs. On October 8, 2001 Abdul Ali, Altaf Hossain, HossainAli, Abdur Rauf, Yasin Ali, Liton Sheikh and 5 more Jihadis belonging to the Party of the elected Prime Minister, Khaleda Zia raided Anil Chandra’s house and beat up Anil Chandra, and tied him with a rope and abused him calling him “Kafir”. Why should a kafir have so much land? Saying that they attacked 14 year old Purnima. Seeing this, the mother cried out, “Abdul Ali. Please go one by one, she is only 14.” They also raped the six year old and leaving them there they threatened their neighbors not to come to the rescue of Anil Chandra’s family. After publishing this, Taslima Nasrin had to leave Bangladesh.
